The official name of this application is GPS Remote for Osmo Action (Android package com.devsdev.gpsremote). That is the same name shown on Google Play and on the Google Sign-In / OAuth consent screen.

Purpose of the application

GPS Remote for Osmo Action is an Android mobile application. Its purpose is to:

Discover and connect to a compatible Osmo camera you own using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Stream live GPS location from your phone to that camera so footage can be geotagged
Provide basic remote controls while connected (start/stop recording, mode switch, sleep)
Optionally keep GPS push running in the background with a notification

Supported cameras include Osmo Action 4, Osmo Action 5 Pro, Osmo Action 6, and Osmo 360. Location is sent only over Bluetooth to the camera you connect — not uploaded to Google and not stored on our servers as GPS tracks.

How GPS Remote for Osmo Action uses Google user data

When you choose Sign in with Google, GPS Remote for Osmo Action requests basic Google account profile information (typically your name and email address) through Google’s OAuth sign-in. We use that Google user data only to:

Create or identify your app account on our backend API
Authenticate you when you use signed-in features in the mobile app
Contact you about your account if needed (using the email Google provides)
