Privacy Policy
This policy describes how GPS Remote for Osmo Action
(package com.devsdev.gpsremote, the “App”) and the related
backend API at osmo-api.devinn.org handle information. The App is published by an
independent developer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by DJI.
Summary
- Location and Bluetooth are used to talk to your Osmo camera over a direct link.
- GPS coordinates are not uploaded to developer servers for storage or analytics.
- Optional Google / email sign-in creates an account on our API for app features.
- Optional crash reporting (Sentry) may send diagnostics when errors occur.
- No ads and no sale of personal data.

Location (GPS)
When you enable GPS push, the App reads location from the device and sends it only over Bluetooth to the camera you connected. The developer does not operate a backend that stores your GPS tracks.
Bluetooth & remote commands
The App connects to compatible Osmo cameras over BLE and may send remote commands (record, stop, mode, sleep) on that same link. Command history is not uploaded to the developer.
Accounts (optional)
If you sign in with Google or email/password, we store account details needed for authentication (such as email, display name, and auth tokens) on the Osmo API. Google sign-in is handled by Google; we receive a profile identifier and email to create or link your account.
Crash reporting (Sentry)
Optional crash reporting may include stack traces, app/device/OS versions, and related diagnostics. See Sentry’s privacy policy.
What we do not do
- No advertising or sale of personal information
- No collection of GPS tracks on developer servers
- No sending GPS to DJI cloud on your behalf beyond normal camera behaviour
Your choices
- Revoke permissions in Android settings
- Disconnect the camera / stop GPS push
- Sign out or delete local app data / uninstall
- Email us for privacy questions or deletion requests for API account data
